Suitable for: Garden wood products made from thermowood, such as patio floors, wooden decks and garden furniture, also suitable for larch and exotic wood. The pigmented thermowood oil based on renewable raw materials dries in the color thermowood brown. Thermowood oil protects, cares for and impregnates. After application, the wood surface is highly water-repellent, weather- and UV-resistant and protected against greying in the long term. Application/processing: - The untreated sanded wood surface must be clean, free of dust and grease and dry. - Processing temperature (including drying) from + 8 °C. Wood moisture < 18%. - Degrey and neutralize greyed wood with a suitable cleaner before painting. - In the case of soft wood (risk of fungi) outdoors, pre-treat with a suitable impregnating primer before the first coat. - Wood with a particularly high content of wood ingredients should be weathered for approx. 4 weeks before the first treatment. Fresh, pressure-impregnated wood, such as Massaranduba, Ipé or Garapa, should be allowed to weather for around 3 months before the first treatment. - Drying time approx. 12 - 24 hours (weather dependent). - Stir the contents well before and during use. - Works differently on different surfaces. Test coats required. - Please pay attention to constructive wood protection. - Apply the oil thinly and evenly - Avoid the formation of layers and remove excess oil. Apply Thermowood Oil twice to the dry wood. (Soak the end grain until it is saturated) Can be painted over after 12 - 24 hours. Thermowood Oil should always be painted over with the same product for subsequent rework. In unfavorable weather conditions and in the case of clearly visible cracks, the coat must be renewed in good time. Cleaning: Clean brushes and painting tools with thinner or turpentine substitute immediately after use. Storage: Cool, but frost-free.
