Suitable for: Anti-slip protection to reduce the risk of slipping on all types of wood. In particular, anti-slip agents are helpful on pre-treated wood that becomes very slippery due to moisture, moss, algae and lichen, as well as on mineral surfaces and stairs. The product ensures a highly resistant micro-structure surface finish on the absorbent substrates mentioned. Corresponds to slip resistance class R9 DIN 51130. Application/processing: - The surface must be clean, free of dust and grease, and dry. - Remove grease, dirt and other contaminants with a suitable cleaner. - Processing temperature (including drying) from + 8 °C. Wood moisture not above 18%. Air humidity < 60%. - Can be reworked after approx. 8 hours. Final hardness is only achieved after 10 days. Be gentle during this time. Drying occurs through oxygen absorption (oxidation) with a product-typical smell, so ensure sufficient, temperate air exchange during the drying time. - Drying time at least 8-12 hours (weather dependent) and avoid exposure to moisture during this time. - Stir contents well before and during use. - Works differently on different surfaces. Test coats required. Apply anti-slip agent using a brush or roller with a flat brush or foam roller using a cross-coating method. Consumption: Approx. 100 - 165 ml/m², i.e. 1 litre of anti-slip agent is enough for approx. 7 - 10 m² per application. Depends on the type of wood and surface (planed or rough sawn). Consumption can double for grooved wood. Cleaning: Clean brushes and painting tools with warm water and soap immediately after use. Storage: Cool, but frost-free.
