Suitable for: Protection and care of larch and cedar wood indoors and outdoors, such as pergolas, fences, carports, garden furniture, log cabins and garden houses. Larch and cedar oil is a wood care product specially developed for the types of wood mentioned. The solvent-free, open-pored larch and cedar oil based on emulsified, natural oils is weatherproof and offers good UV protection. There is no abrasion resistance on terraces and floors. Application/processing: - The wooden surface must be clean, free of dust and grease and dry. - For soft woods (risk of fungus) outdoors, pre-treat with a suitable impregnating primer before the first coat. - Processing temperature (including drying) from + 8 °C. Wood moisture not above 18%. Air humidity < 60%. - Can be recoated after approx. 8 hours. Final hardness is only achieved after 10 days. - Drying time at least 8 - 12 hours (weather dependent) and avoid exposure to moisture during this time. - Stir contents well before and during use. - Works differently on different surfaces. Test coats required. - The product is milky but dries colorless. - Apply the first coat to all sides before assembly if possible. Always apply larch and cedar oil generously two or three times to the dry wood by brushing, spraying, rolling or dipping (be sure to adhere to the minimum consumption), soak end grain parts until saturation. A refresher as required (once a year) is recommended. For a colored coat, pre-coat with colored products and then finish with larch and cedar oil. Consumption: approx. 100 - 165 ml/m², i.e. 1 liter of larch and cedar oil is enough for approx. 6 - 10m² per application, depending on the type of wood and surface (planed or rough sawn). With grooved wood, consumption may be higher (factor 2 - 3). If consumption is lower, durability and UV protection are not guaranteed. Storage: Cool, but frost-free.
