Suitable for: All types of wood, both indoors and outdoors, e.g. facade cladding, windows, garden sheds, wall and ceiling cladding, wooden floors, furniture, cork, play equipment, etc. Wood wax L is also well suited for damp rooms such as bathrooms and kitchens, as well as heavily used surfaces such as doors and furniture. Wood wax L is a hard-wearing, open-pored and vapor-permeable coating. It protects against graying and dirt and penetrates deep into the wood. Swelling and shrinkage are reduced. Application/processing: - The surface must be frost-free, clean, dust-free and dry. - Processing temperature (including drying) from + 8 °C. Wood moisture not above 18%. Air humidity < 60%. - For soft woods (risk of fungus) outdoors, pre-treat with a suitable impregnating primer before the first coat. - Can be painted over, even when dry after approx. 12 hours. - In damp rooms, treatment on all sides is recommended. - Stir the contents well before and during use. - Effects different on different surfaces. Test coat required. - Apply the first coat to all sides before assembly if possible. Apply Wood Wax L by brushing, spraying, rolling or dipping. After approx. 5 - 10 minutes of drying time, spread evenly with an almost dry brush. After drying for at least 12 hours, apply a second coat. For aftercare, Wood Wax L can also be applied to all conventional coats. Consumption: approx. 60 ml/m², i.e. 1 litre of Wood Wax L is enough for approx. 15 m² per coat, depending on the type of wood and surface (planed or rough sawn). Consumption can increase with grooved wood (factor 2 - 3). Lower consumption affects the durability of the coat. Cleaning: Clean brushes and painting tools with thinner or white spirit immediately after use. Storage: Cool but frost-free.
