Care oil for heavily used wooden surfaces

PNZ Wood Oil is a highly water-repellent care oil for used wooden surfaces in interior areas. It penetrates deep into the wood, accentuates the grain, and provides a silk-matte, easy-care surface that repels moisture and dirt.

Processing & Application

  • Preparation – wood surface sanded, clean & grease-free
  • Test coat – check color shade & absorbency beforehand
  • Stirring – stir oil well before & during work
  • Application – apply thinly & evenly wet-on-wet with a roller or brush
  • Wiping off – remove excess oil completely after approx. 60 min.
  • Buffing in – work remaining oil into the surface manually or mechanically
  • Drying – approx. 8 hrs., final hardness after 10 days
  • Maintenance – repolish after 24 hrs. for increased durability

To apply wood oil or wax, we recommend that you first clean and sand the surface thoroughly. Then apply the oil or wax evenly with a brush or cloth and allow it to absorb. Excess material should be wiped off. Detailed instructions can be found in the respective product descriptions.

Are your products environmentally friendly?

On the respective product pages, you will find specific information for each individual product, such as its composition (e.g., oils based on linseed oil and other vegetable oils), solvent-free formulations, or the EMICODE EC1 (“very low emission”) classification from the GEV. Which of these features apply varies from product to product and is indicated individually there.

How often should I maintain my wooden deck or furniture?

The frequency of maintenance depends on usage and weather conditions. As a rule, we recommend cleaning and re-oiling wooden decks and furniture at least once a year to keep them in top condition.

What do I do if there are stubborn stains or discolorations on the wood?

For stubborn stains or discoloration, we offer special cleaning and care products, such as tannin stain removers and intensive cleaners. These products are specially formulated to remove even the most difficult stains.

Can I use your products on other materials?

Our products are specially formulated for wooden surfaces. For other materials, we recommend reading the product description carefully or contacting our customer service.

How long does it take for the products to dry?

Drying time varies depending on the product and ambient temperature. As a rule, wood oils and waxes require several hours to a full day to dry completely. For more detailed information, please refer to the respective product instructions.
