Bamboo is a unique, rapidly renewable raw material – but it is also demanding when it comes to protection and maintenance. PNZ Bamboo Care Oil has been specially developed for bamboo & thermo-bamboo and provides a deep-penetrating, breathable treatment that protects the material against moisture, UV influence, and graying – without covering the natural structure.

Processing & Application

  1. Clean surface & allow to dry completely
  2. Stir oil well before use
  3. Apply thinly and evenly (brush, roller, cloth)
  4. Remove excess oil after 20–30 mins
  5. Carry out an optional second coat after drying

Consumption: approx. 60–100 ml/m² per coat (depending on the substrate)

How do I apply wood oil or wax correctly?

To apply wood oil or wax, we recommend that you first clean and sand the surface thoroughly. Then apply the oil or wax evenly with a brush or cloth and allow it to absorb. Excess material should be wiped off. Detailed instructions can be found in the respective product descriptions.

Are your products environmentally friendly?

On the respective product pages, you will find specific information for each individual product, such as its composition (e.g., oils based on linseed oil and other vegetable oils), solvent-free formulations, or the EMICODE EC1 (“very low emission”) classification from the GEV. Which of these features apply varies from product to product and is indicated individually there.

How often should I maintain my wooden deck or furniture?

The frequency of maintenance depends on usage and weather conditions. As a rule, we recommend cleaning and re-oiling wooden decks and furniture at least once a year to keep them in top condition.

What do I do if there are stubborn stains or discolorations on the wood?

For stubborn stains or discoloration, we offer special cleaning and care products, such as tannin stain removers and intensive cleaners. These products are specially formulated to remove even the most difficult stains.

Can I use your products on other materials?

How long does it take for the products to dry?
