Suitable for: Local and exotic woods for new and renovation coatings (wooden decks, wooden terraces, facade cladding, windows, doors, garden houses, half-timbering, play equipment, etc.). The colored G2 terrace oil offers good protection against extreme climatic influences thanks to its non-film-forming surface with excellent deep impregnation. It settles into the wood capillaries in a similar way to tree bark, creating a highly water-repellent, weather- and UV-resistant surface. The G2 terrace oil is free of toxic active ingredients, odorless after drying and harmless to building biology. Swelling of the wood and the formation of cracks are largely prevented. Application/processing: - Surface must be frost-free, clean, dust-free and dry. - Wood with a particularly high content of wood ingredients should be weathered for approx. 4 weeks before the initial treatment. Fresh, pressure-impregnated wood, such as Massaranduba, Ipè or Garapa, should be allowed to weather for around 3 months before the first treatment. - Processing temperature (including drying) above + 8 °C. Wood moisture not above 18 %. Air humidity < 60 % - Works differently on different surfaces. Test coat required. - Please pay attention to constructive wood protection. - Stir the contents well before and during use. - Final treatment with G2 Terrace Oil, colourless, extends the abrasion protection (especially terraces). - Apply the first coat to all sides before assembly if possible. - For soft woods (risk of fungus) outdoors, pre-treat with a suitable impregnation primer before the first coat. - Apply the oil thinly and evenly - Avoid the formation of layers and remove excess oil. Cleaning: Clean brushes and painting tools with thinner or white spirit immediately after use. Storage: Cool but frost-free.
