Strong & gentle

Bona Professional Cleaner is a highly concentrated, slightly alkaline cleaner for the regular cleaning of sealed wood and cork floors. It removes stubborn dirt, is low-foaming and leaves no dull residue. Suitable for manual use and automatic cleaning machines.

Application

  • Preparation – remove loose dust/dirt dry
  • Normal dilution – 100 ml per 10 L of water (1:100)
  • Strong dilution – 200 ml per 10 L of water (1:50)
  • Application – clean with a mop or machine and a white pad
  • Low water volume – avoid puddles, use only the necessary amount of moisture

To apply wood oil or wax, we recommend that you first clean and sand the surface thoroughly. Then apply the oil or wax evenly with a brush or cloth and allow it to absorb. Excess material should be wiped off. Detailed instructions can be found in the respective product descriptions.

Are your products environmentally friendly?

On the respective product pages, you will find specific information for each individual product, such as its composition (e.g., oils based on linseed oil and other vegetable oils), solvent-free formulations, or the EMICODE EC1 (“very low emission”) classification from the GEV. Which of these features apply varies from product to product and is indicated individually there.

The frequency of maintenance depends on usage and weather conditions. As a rule, we recommend cleaning and re-oiling wooden decks and furniture at least once a year to keep them in top condition.

For stubborn stains or discoloration, we offer special cleaning and care products, such as tannin stain removers and intensive cleaners. These products are specially formulated to remove even the most difficult stains.

How long does it take for the products to dry?

Drying time varies depending on the product and ambient temperature. As a rule, wood oils and waxes require several hours to a full day to dry completely. For more detailed information, please refer to the respective product instructions.
