BH Supreme Parquet Lacquer is a water-based sealer for wood and cork floors. The product is not classified as hazardous, offers a glossy, elegant finish, and ensures an exceptionally durable surface in living areas.

Areas of Application

  • Wood floors – ideal for normally stressed living areas
  • Cork floors – suitable for sealable cork surfaces
  • Interior spaces – optimal for living rooms and lounges

Application

  • Sand substrate – sand floor down to raw wood
  • Clean – keep surface dry, free of dust and dirt
  • Prime – apply Bona parquet primer, dry for 1–2 hrs
  • Shake lacquer – mix thoroughly before use
  • First coat – apply evenly with water-based lacquer roller or brush
  • Allow to dry – let first layer rest for 2–3 hrs
  • Intermediate sanding – sand with 120 grit after 10–12 hrs
  • Clean – vacuum floor and wipe with a damp cloth
  • Second coat – apply final sealing coat

Drying & Notes

  • Walkable: can be used carefully after approx. 1 day
  • Full curing: reached after approx. 1 week
  • Furniture: place cautiously, use felt gliders
  • Carpets: do not lay down until after at least 2 weeks

How do I apply wood oil or wax correctly?

To apply wood oil or wax, we recommend that you first clean and sand the surface thoroughly. Then apply the oil or wax evenly with a brush or cloth and allow it to absorb. Excess material should be wiped off. Detailed instructions can be found in the respective product descriptions.

Are your products environmentally friendly?

On the respective product pages, you will find specific information for each individual product, such as its composition (e.g., oils based on linseed oil and other vegetable oils), solvent-free formulations, or the EMICODE EC1 (“very low emission”) classification from the GEV. Which of these features apply varies from product to product and is indicated individually there.

How often should I maintain my wooden deck or furniture?

The frequency of maintenance depends on usage and weather conditions. As a rule, we recommend cleaning and re-oiling wooden decks and furniture at least once a year to keep them in top condition.

What do I do if there are stubborn stains or discolorations on the wood?

For stubborn stains or discoloration, we offer special cleaning and care products, such as tannin stain removers and intensive cleaners. These products are specially formulated to remove even the most difficult stains.

Can I use your products on other materials?

Our products are specially formulated for wooden surfaces. For other materials, we recommend reading the product description carefully or contacting our customer service.

How long does it take for the products to dry?

Drying time varies depending on the product and ambient temperature. As a rule, wood oils and waxes require several hours to a full day to dry completely. For more detailed information, please refer to the respective product instructions.
